“The First Night with the Duke” is heading toward its conclusion!
“The First Night with the Duke” is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transported into a minor character in a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After waking up in the world of the novel, she ends up spending the night with the obsessive male lead, Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).

How Prince Yi Gyu’s schemes will affect Yi Beon and Cha Sun Chaek’s relationship
Sun Chaek, a supporting character, pleaded with the tyrant male lead Yi Beon to stop killing people, hoping he would no longer carry the burden of others’ resentment. Subsequently, Yi Beon made the bold decision to disobey the king’s order to kill — a choice that caused him to fall overnight from a favored royal subject to a traitor.
Soon after, he became entangled in the schemes of Prince Yi Gyu (Lee Tae Sun), with whom he shares a long-standing feud, and was sent to the battlefield—where his life is now in grave danger—under the guise of atoning for his crimes.
Meanwhile, Cha Sun Chaek, who is left alone in the capital, is also expected to face turbulent times. Not only has Yi Gyu persistently shown interest in her, but it was also revealed that he’s the mastermind behind the group that has relentlessly tormented Yi Beon. Attention is focused on how Yi Gyu, who has emerged as a hidden threat to the royal family, will endanger Cha Sun Chaek, and whether she can endure the looming danger until Yi Beon’s return. 
The relationship between Jung Soo Gyeom and Jo Eun Ae
Another point to focus on is the romantic relationship of the second male lead, Jung Soo Gyeom (Seo Bum June). He fell in love at first sight with the novel’s original female lead, Jo Eun Ae (Kwon Han Sol), after she drank alcohol on his behalf—and his feelings for her only grew stronger.
However, Soo Gyeom was hit with a major shock upon discovering that Jo Eun Ae was behind Cha Sun Chaek’s kidnapping. He ultimately confided this truth to Yi Beon, choosing friendship over love—but having harbored feelings for her for so long, his heart is anything but at peace. Whether Soo Gyeom can truly let go of his feelings for Jo Eun Ae remains to be seen, and viewers are watching closely to see how their relationship will unfold.
