“Omniscient Reader” has dropped new posters featuring its cast!
Based on the popular web novel of the same name, “Omniscient Reader” will tell the story of Kim Dok Ja (Ahn Hyo Seop), who suddenly finds himself living in the world of a fantasy novel he was reading. Armed with the knowledge of what happened in the novel, Kim Dok Ja sets out to save the world from ending. Lee Min Ho stars as Yoo Joong Hyuk, the protagonist from the novel that Kim Dok Ja read.
The newly released posters immediately draw attention with the striking presence of actors fully immersed in their roles. Set in a world where fiction becomes reality, the posters capture intense, action-filled moments as each character confronts the storyline in their own unique way, adding to the overall excitement.
Kim Dok Ja, the sole reader of a novel serialized for more than a decade, appears with a resolute expression and unwavering gaze, hinting at an epic quest to rewrite the ending of a story in which only the main character survives.
Yoo Joong Hyuk, the novel’s original lead who has become jaded after enduring countless deaths and time loops, presents a stark contrast with a detached, transcendent expression that highlights the emotional distance he has developed.
Anticipation is rising around the explosive first meeting between Kim Dok Ja and Yoo Joong Hyuk as viewers look forward to the twists that will unfold and the chemistry the two characters will bring to life.
Yoo Sang Ah (Chae Soo Bin), who experiences the collapse of reality alongside Kim Dok Ja, navigates danger using her own unique abilities. She skillfully manipulates silk thread to rebuild broken bridges or bandage her teammates’ wounds, demonstrating quick thinking and creativity.
Lee Hyun Sung (Shin Seung Ho), known for his immense strength and optimal physical condition, becomes a dependable shield for his teammates. His powerful, fast-paced action scenes across the screen enhance the sense of catharsis and deliver a thrilling experience.
Jung Hee Won (Nana), one of Kim Dok Ja’s favorite characters and a fierce fighter for justice, stands out with a confident yet cynical expression that defines her strong presence. Armed with sharp daggers in both hands, she stuns with elegant, lightning-fast combat that captivates the audience.
Lee Ji Hye (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo), a high school student who follows Yoo Joong Hyuk and refers to him as “Master,” coldly rejects a proposal from Kim Dok Ja during a critical moment. Still, curiosity builds around the decision she will ultimately make and whether she will come to stand alongside Kim Dok Ja and his allies.
Lee Gil Young (Kwon Eun Seong), who fights in harmony with insects, brings instant charm with his presence and leaves a strong impression. His unique ability shines in the darkness of a tunnel, sparking intrigue about which insect will aid him and how it will turn the tide.
