Disney+’s upcoming series “Low Life” has unveiled new posters featuring its main characters!
Based on a webtoon, “Low Life” is a crime drama set in 1977 that follows a group of down-on-their-luck country folks as they chase after a sunken treasure ship beneath the sea. The drama stars Ryu Seung Ryong, Yang Se Jong, Im Soo Jung, Kim Eui Sung, Kim Sung Oh, Hong Ki Joon, Woo Hyun, Lee Dong Hwi, TVXQ’s Yunho, Im Hyung Joon, Lee Sang Jin, Kim Min, Kim Jin Wook, and more.
The newly revealed posters are organized by region—SEOUL, BUSAN, and MOKPO—and capture key characters from each area gathered together. The ceramic pieces representing each region, placed at the bottom of the posters, symbolically reflect the treasure at the heart of the story.
Director Kang Yoon Sung shared, “There are so many characters, it could be called a feast of personalities. It’s a story where every character is assertive, and because each one has such a strong personality, it’ll definitely be fun to follow the story while observing their unique traits.”
He added, “Because each character has slightly different goals and desires, the fun moments that emerge from their contrasting personalities will be one of the show’s key highlights.”
The 11-episode run of “Low Life” begins July 16 with three episodes, followed by two episodes each on July 23, July 30, August 6, and August 13.
