SBS’s upcoming comedy sports drama “The Winning Try” has unveiled new stills featuring Yoon Kye Sang and Kim Yo Han!
“The Winning Try” tells the story of Joo Ga Ram (Yoon Kye Sang), a former rugby star who falls from grace due to a doping scandal. Years later, he returns to his alma mater as the new coach of its bottom-ranked high school rugby team and leads the underdog squad on a quest to win the National Sports Festival.
Yoon Kye Sang and Kim Yo Han deliver a blend of lighthearted humor and gripping tension through their surprising teacher-student chemistry, set against the backdrop of a high school rugby team stuck in last place.
Yoon Kye Sang plays Joo Ga Ram, a former rugby star who returns as the quirky coach of Hanyang Physical Education High School. With his signature dry wit, he brings plenty of laughs. Kim Yo Han takes on the role of Yoon Sung Joon, the team captain who strictly follows rules and discipline, showcasing a cool and commanding presence.
In the newly released stills, Yoon Kye Sang looks playful, wearing a loose shirt and blowing soap bubbles. In contrast, Kim Yo Han watches him with a sharp gaze, creating a striking difference in tone. The subtle tension, as if their roles as coach and player have been reversed, adds an intriguing twist to their dynamic.
From the start, the two clash with constant bickering and tension. But united by their shared goal of rugby, they are expected to lead the team and gradually build strong teamwork. Audiences are eager to see what kind of miracle they will create.
