The fourth annual Blue Dragon Series Awards took place last night!

Back in 2022, Sports Chosun—which presents the famous annual Blue Dragon Film Awards—launched Korea’s first award ceremony specifically for streaming platforms. In light of the continuing growth of the original series content industry, the Blue Dragon Series Awards honors excellence in dramas and variety shows produced by streaming services, as opposed to television networks.

On July 18, the star-studded ceremony for the 2025 awards was held at Incheon’s Paradise City, with Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and Jun Hyun Moo returning as hosts for the fourth year in a row.

This year’s Daesang (Grand Prize) went to “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” with the cast of the critically acclaimed drama also taking home multiple awards: IU won Best Actress, Yeom Hye Ran won Best Supporting Actress, and both IU and Park Bo Gum snagged Popular Star Awards.

The award for Best Drama went to “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,” with star Ju Ji Hoon claiming the award for Best Actor and Choo Young Woo taking home the prize for Best Rookie Actor.

Lee Kwang Soo won Best Supporting Actor for his performance in “Karma,” while Kim Min Ha claimed Best Rookie Actress for her star turn in “Way Back Love.”

Meanwhile, “Culinary Class Wars” won this year’s award for Best Variety Program.
