tvN’s upcoming drama “Love, Take Two” has offered a new glimpse of Yum Jung Ah and Park Hae Joon’s on-screen chemistry!

“Love, Take Two” is a heartwarming comedy drama about a mismatched duo: a 43-year-old single mother and her 23-year-old medical student daughter. The pair moves to the countryside to start a new chapter in their lives, encountering various people and chaotic situations that teach them profound lessons about life.

In the drama, Yum Jung Ah plays Lee Ji An, a single mother who has always faced life head-on, with confidence as her greatest strength. Park Hae Joon plays Ryu Jung Seok, a prickly architect who is Lee Ji An’s first love.

One of the newly released stills captures Ji An wearing a work suit and safety helmet at a construction site. Despite the sweltering sun and dust-filled air, she exudes quiet strength as she examines a blueprint with a serious expression.

Another still shows a softer side of Ji An as a mother returning home on the bus after grocery shopping, her face etched with concern.

Meanwhile, Ryu Jung Seok appears calm and relaxed with a chic, distant gaze and his hands tucked casually in his pockets. Despite his cool exterior, Jung Seok is a devoted single father who shows boundless affection for his son, revealing a tender heart beneath his tough facade.

Speaking about her role, Yum Jung Ah shared, “Lee Ji An is a character who endures and overcomes her circumstances rather than denying them, which made me feel even more attached to her. I tried to portray Ji An in a way that her strength and warmth would naturally resonate with viewers.”

She also had warm praise for her co-star Park Hae Joon, calling him “a truly good actor and good person.” She added, “Seeing him take care of the people around him on set or during personal conversations, his kindness always came through, so I relied on him a lot. There aren’t many chances for actors our age to portray such a tender romance, so I feel lucky to be doing this with Park Hae Joon.”

Park Hae Joon described his character Ryu Jung Seok as “someone who may seem cold and blunt on the outside, but he’s a soft-hearted and caring person who always ends up agreeing to other people’s requests.”

He also shared his admiration for Yum Jung Ah, saying, “She’s always delivered great performances, but I think her portrayal of Lee Ji An this time will be especially lovable and full of charm.”

“Love, Take Two” will premiere on August 4 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
