Channel A’s upcoming drama “My Lovely Journey” has unveiled a third teaser ahead of the premiere!
Based on a bestselling Japanese novel by Maha Harada, “My Lovely Journey” follows Kang Yeo Reum (Gong Seung Yeon), a former idol-turned-travel reporter who has never been the center of attention in her life. As she takes on travel assignments on behalf of others, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, coming to understand the true meaning of success and life.
The newly released teaser opens with Kang Yeo Reum being informed that her agency Ogu Entertainment will pivot into a travel agency—and that she has been selected to go on a trip on behalf of a client. Startled and confused, she argues with CEO Oh Sang Sik (Yoo Joon Sang), who remains calm and insists that it’s a “plausible” plan.
Following the caption “A journey that makes no sense has begun,” Yeo Reum is next seen standing at a rainy bus terminal, symbolizing the start of her unexpected adventure. As Ogu Entertainment shifts industries, the teaser introduces its quirky team members.
Yeo Reum displays resilience amid the chao, while CEO Sang Sik reveals a comically romantic side, refusing to give up on his dreams as he says, “I may be broke, but I still have dreams.”
Lee Yeon Seok (Kim Jae Young) is a cool-headed character who speaks bluntly but shows tenderness toward Yeo Reum, offering her encouragement and kind words. Yoo Ha Na (Hong Soo Hyun), visibly shocked by the agency’s transformation, remains steadfast in her role as finance director. Meanwhile, Hyun Ba Ram (Oh Hyun Joong) showcases his eccentric charm as he practices yoga in the office and casually discusses lunch stipends with the CEO.
The teaser wraps up with glimpses of diverse clients, each of whom has their own story, and breathtaking natural scenery as Yeo Reum begins her heartfelt journey. The final caption—“A journey for you, riding on the stories of our clients”—builds anticipation for this healing drama that promises both emotional depth and scenic beauty.
