JTBC’s upcoming drama “Beyond the Bar” has unveiled new stills featuring the four attorneys of Yullim!
“Beyond the Bar” follows the story of Kang Hyo Min (Jung Chaeyeon), an upstanding and confident yet inexperienced rookie attorney at the law firm Yullim. Under the mentorship of Yoon Seok Hoon (Lee Jin Uk), a cold but exceptionally skilled partner attorney, Hyo Min gradually grows into a true lawyer as she navigates the challenges of the legal world.
Yoon Seok Hoon, head of the litigation team and a partner at the firm, is a cool-headed strategist who handles cases with logic, strategy, and little emotion. Known for proving himself through results rather than words, Yoon Seok Hoon has firmly established his place as a key power player at Yullim. Through his flawless arguments, he hints at courtroom performances worthy of the title “king of rational strategy.”
Rookie attorney Kang Hyo Min is the opposite of Yoon Seok Hoon—an empathetic individual who approaches each case with an open heart. As a newcomer to the professional world, she often makes mistakes and appears flustered. However, these moments reflect her genuine passion for the cases she takes on. Kang Hyo Min’s sincere way of listening to her clients adds warmth to the story, and her bumpy journey of growth as a lawyer is expected to earn viewers’ support.
Associate attorney Lee Jin Woo (Lee Hak Joo) serves as the balancing force between two polar opposites—his boss Yoon Seok Hoon and newcomer Kang Hyo Min. Known for his flexibility and strong sense of teamwork, Lee Jin Woo is a dependable problem-solver who earns the trust of his superiors and the respect of his juniors.
With his cheerful energy and tactful demeanor, he helps maintain a smooth atmosphere at the law firm and consistently steps into the right role at the right time.
Lastly, Heo Min Jung (Jeon Hye Bin), considered another key power player at Yullim alongside Yoon Seok Hoon, is a seasoned attorney who entered the legal field with unmatched drive and determination.
Despite the title of a latecomer associate attorney, Heo Min Jung possesses strong practical instincts and warm leadership that make her a reliable source of support for her junior colleagues.
“Beyond the Bar” will premiere on August 2 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
