JTBC’s upcoming drama “Beyond the Bar” has unveiled a new poster featuring Lee Jin Uk, Jung Chaeyeon, Lee Hak Joo, and Jeon Hye Bin!
“Beyond the Bar” follows the story of Kang Hyo Min (Jung Chaeyeon), an upstanding and confident yet inexperienced rookie attorney at the law firm Yullim. Under the mentorship of Yoon Seok Hoon (Lee Jin Uk), a cold but exceptionally skilled partner attorney, Hyo Min gradually grows into a true lawyer as she navigates the challenges of the legal world.
Lee Hak Joo stars as Lee Jin Woo, an easygoing and charming associate attorney. He’s someone who understands Seok Hoon’s intentions better than anyone and takes great care of junior attorneys, making him an indispensable figure within the firm.
Jeon Hye Bin plays Heo Min Jung, another associate attorney at Yullim. A late bloomer, Min Jung pursued her dream of becoming a lawyer later in life and successfully graduated from law school, confidently paving her own path.
The released group poster captures Yoon Seok Hoon, Kang Hyo Min, Lee Jin Woo, and Heo Min Jung quietly conversing in a conference room just before a trial begins. Each character exudes a distinct aura that sparks viewers’ curiosity.
Yoon Seok Hoon is seen with a relaxed posture. His steady gaze and composed expression reflect the confidence and authority of a team leader. In contrast, Kang Hyo Min’s piercing gaze and firm composure as she clutches a case file tightly with both hands reveal her bold determination and passion.
Lee Jin Woo shows his charm as the team’s mood maker, with a faint smile and his signature laid-back demeanor. Meanwhile, Heo Min Jung’s warm smile as she looks at the case file with Kang Hyo Min reflects the warmth and reliability of a seasoned senior lawyer.
The production team commented, “Please look forward to the growth stories of these four lawyers as they each prepare and face challenges in their own ways within the intense environment of the courtroom.”
“Beyond the Bar” will premiere on August 2 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
