KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Walking On Thin Ice” has shared a glimpse of the cracks that begin to form in Lee Young Ae’s life!
“Walking On Thin Ice” follows Kang Eun Soo (Lee Young Ae), a parent determined to protect her family, and Lee Kyung (Kim Young Kwang), a two-faced teacher, as they are drawn into a dangerous, desperate partnership after stumbling upon a bag of drugs.
Lee Young Ae stars as Kang Eun Soo, a woman whose ordinary life unravels overnight when her husband’s illness worsens and the family is thrown into financial ruin. One day, she comes across a suspicious bag left behind by someone—an encounter that unexpectedly entangles her with her daughter’s after-school art teacher, Lee Kyung.
Newly released stills offer a glimpse into Eun Soo’s unraveling world, tracing the quiet fractures in her everyday life. In one image, she beams at her daughter with a heart gesture as she heads off to school. Her cheerful smile, tidy apron, and cozy home radiate the quiet joy of a devoted mother—moments that soon stand in stark contrast to the turmoil ahead.
Another still captures Eun Soo at work in a supermarket, clad in a uniform. Her demeanor as she carries out her duties hints at a woman quietly shouldering the weight of her reality, offering a poignant look at her struggle to make ends meet.
The final still paints a drastically different picture. Her subtle but powerful emotional shift as she stands frozen—her body tense, her gaze anxious, her lips tightly sealed—foreshadows the harrowing journey to come.
