tvN’s upcoming drama “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” has released a new cooking survival show-inspired teaser!
Based on a popular web novel, “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” is a fantasy romance drama starring Lim Yoona as Yeon Ji Young, an award-winning French chef who winds up traveling 500 years back into the past. There, she meets despotic king Lee Heon (Lee Chae Min), who is known as the worst of tyrants—and who also happens to be a discerning gourmet.
The new teaser begins with Yeon Ji Young in what looks like the middle of an intense cooking competition. Her eyes are filled with determination as she puts the final touches on her dish, while the camera pulls back to reveal a lavish banquet table overflowing with mouthwatering creations.
The judge of this high-stakes showdown is none other than King Lee Heon himself. Famous for his razor-sharp taste buds, he’s the most ruthless judge Ji Young could ever face. His chilling declaration—“If the dish does not suit my palate, the punishment is death”—sets the stage for a gripping culinary face-off. Will Ji Young manage to satisfy the tyrant king’s demanding taste?
“Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” will premiere on August 23 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
