SBS’s “Spring of Youth” has unveiled new stills featuring the special appearance of Kwon Hyuk Soo!
“Spring of Youth” tells the story of Sa Gye (Ha Yoo Joon), a member of K-pop’s most famous band, who is suddenly ousted from his group. As he enrolls and adjusts to college life for the first time, he falls for Kim Bom (Park Ji Hu) and rediscovers his passion for music by joining a campus band. N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub stars as Sa Gye’s romantic rival Seo Tae Yang.

Previously, Kim Bom was shocked to learn that Seo Tae Yang had become the new leader of The Crown. Although surprised, she believed it was a good opportunity for him and chose to focus on her activities with TWO SAGYE.
Later, while running an errand for Bae Gyu Ri (Seo Hye Won) at a department store, Kim Bom had an awkward reunion with Seo Tae Yang when she tripped and fell in front of him just as he arrived for a fan signing event, drawing attention from onlookers.
Kwon Hyuk Soo appears in episode 8 as a senior member of the university newspaper. In the episode, he visits the TWO SAGYE club room to deliver a special mission to Kim Bom.
Dressed in a mustard-colored jumper that brings a fresh touch to his campus look, Kwon Hyuk Soo relays the instructions with a variety of expressive facial gestures, fully embodying his character.
Kwon Hyuk Soo delivers a memorable performance during his special appearance, living up to his reputation as a master of impressions. By mimicking actors Yoo Hae Jin and Lee Kyung Young in his lines, he infuses the scene with humor and high energy.
Despite Kwon Hyuk Soo’s comedic delivery, Park Ji Hu remained composed and professional, holding back laughter and staying in character. The scene—fueled by Kwon Hyuk Soo’s spirited performance and Park Ji Hu’s focus—ended with enthusiastic applause from the crew. Viewers are left wondering what message the university newspaper senior will deliver to Kim Bom in the upcoming episode.
