Seohyun and Taecyeon’s cat-and-mouse romance heats up in KBS2’s “The First Night With the Duke”!
“The First Night with the Duke” is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transported into a minor character in a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After waking up in the world of the novel, she ends up spending the night with the obsessive male lead, Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).

In the previous episodes, K, a college student and avid romance novel reader, suddenly found herself in the body of Cha Sun Chaek, a minor character who has no lines. But after a drunken night, her heartfelt words in full fangirl mode touched the novel’s male lead Yi Beon’s lonely heart, and the two shared an unexpected first night together. Having fallen for Sun Chaek instead of the novel’s original heroine, Yi Beon launched into a relentless courtship, leaving Sun Chaek cornered and even fainting from shock.
Determined to escape Yi Beon’s determination to marry her and desperate to restore the novel’s original plot, Sun Chaek tries everything from daring escapes to psychological battles—but Yi Beon’s fixation only deepens. Viewers are eager to see what clever and unpredictable tactics the resourceful Sun Chaek will attempt next.
