Gong Hyo Jin and Jung Jun Won may be joining forces for a new drama!
On June 18, Sports Chosun reported that Gong Hyo Jin and Jung Jun Won are set to star together in “A Bona fide Killer,” a drama adaptation of the hit Kakao Webtoon of the same name.
In response to the report, a representative from Gong Hyo Jin’s agency Management SOOP shared, “Gong Hyo Jin has received an offer to star in ‘A Bona fide Killer’ and is positively considering it.” Similarly, a source from Jung Jun Won’s agency Alien Company stated, “Jung Jun Won is positively reviewing the offer.”
“A Bona fide Killer” follows the story of Yu Bo Na, a legendary assassin known as “Kingfisher” who returns to her secret organization after a three-year maternity leave.
Gong Hyo Jin has been offered the role of Yu Bo Na, while Jung Jun Won is in talks to play Kwon Tae Sung—Bo Na’s husband and a determined news reporter tasked with uncovering the truth behind Kingfisher’s return.
