Upcoming drama “BITCH X RICH 2” has unveiled new character posters!
Season 1 followed Kim Hye In (Lee Eun Saem), the sole witness to a high school girl’s murder, who transfers to the elite Cheongdam International High School. There, she meets Baek Jena (Kim Ye Rim), the queen of the school’s most powerful clique Diamond 6—and the prime suspect in the case.
In “BITCH X RICH 2,” new characters will shake up the hierarchy, igniting an even fiercer power struggle within Diamond 6. The upcoming season will also delve deeper into Hye In and Jena’s personal growth as they begin to realize what truly matters to them.
Lee Eun Saem plays Kim Hye In, a student from a poor background who transfers to Cheongdam International High School in exchange for staying silent about Kim Hae In’s (Jang Sung Yoon’s) fall. Kim Ye Rim (Yeri) portrays Baek Jena, the most powerful and influential member of Diamond 6—an elite group composed of students from chaebol families.
Kim Min Kyu stars as Cha Jin Wook, a mysterious transfer student from a foreign international school. Lee Jong Hyuk plays Seo Do Eon, a character torn between love and revenge. Won Kyu Bin stars as Lee Sa Rang, a hopeless romantic willing to risk everything to protect Hye In. Park Si Woo appears as Min Yul Hee, while Jang Deok Su plays her fiancé, Park Woo Jin. Jang Sung Yoon stars as Kim Hae In, a character with a burning desire for revenge.
The newly released posters highlight each of the main characters. Their faces, illuminated by a single beam of light against a dark backdrop, heighten the tension and hint at the characters’ hidden desires. This season promises an even more complex and elaborate plot as characters with different objectives become intertwined—including Kim Hye In, who is caught in a murder accusation; Baek Jena, who is faltering in the face of a complex succession dynamic; and Cha Jin Wook, who transfers to Cheongdam International High School with a secret.
The captions on the posters vividly capture each character’s inner thoughts, enhancing immersion. “Is it a sin to have no money? No, I’ll make it a sin to have money” expresses Hye In’s strong resolve as someone from a humble background, while Baek Jena’s quote, “I’ll never have anything taken away from me,” reveals the complex mindset of a powerful figure in the school’s hierarchy.
Other captions like Cha Jin Wook’s “Don’t make me turn over the whole game because of you,” Seo Do Eon’s “I can’t stay in this school for even one second. It’s suffocating,” Min Yul Hee’s, “Don’t ever wake up. If you do, I might actually kill you,” Park Woo Jin’s, “You and I aren’t on the same level, are we?” Kim Hae In’s “I hated your arrogance the most,”and Lee Sa Rang’s, “It’s love. No matter what, I’m on Noona’s side,” add to the suspense and amplify expectations for the thrilling storyline of Season 2.
“BITCH X RICH 2” is set to premiere on July 3 and will be available on Viki.
