“Hunter with a Scalpel” has unveiled chilling new stills!
“Hunter with a Scalpel” is a psychological crime thriller starring Park Ju Hyun as Seo Se Hyun, a brilliant but troubled forensic pathologist. One day, while conducting an autopsy, Se Hyun recognizes the signature murder method of her father Jo Kyun (Park Yong Woo)—a serial killer who she thought had died 20 years ago. Determined not to become his next target, Se Hyun sets out to find him before the police can.

In the last episode, Se Hyun became certain that the serial killer known as the “Tailor” was her father Jo Kyun. Taking matters into her own hands, she held an emergency briefing where she boldly declared, “The culprit is nothing but an ignorant, useless piece of trash consumed by distorted narcissism”—deliberately provoking him. Watching her on TV, Jo Kyun ominously remarked, “I should prepare her a birthday present”—hinting at the horrors to come as his true psychopathic nature emerged.
In today’s Episode 5, Jo Kyun’s ominous promise takes shape as he sends Se Hyun a gruesome birthday gift: the body of yet another victim. In the newly released stills, Se Hyun stares at the third victim she finds in a dark alley, her face betraying a storm of complex emotions. Her sharp gaze as she examines the body suggests she knows this is only the beginning of the deadly game he’s set in motion.
Other stills capture the gripping moment of Se Hyun and Jo Kyun’s first phone call. While Se Hyun is visibly shaken, gripped by fear and terror, Jo Kyun appears disturbingly calm—smiling with unsettling warmth. The chilling contrast leaves viewers wondering: what twisted message is he trying to send after 20 years of silence?
Heightening the suspense, Se Hyun seems to sense his presence nearby, cautiously surveying the shadowy alley as she clutches her phone—raising the question of whether their terrifying reunion is closer than she thinks.
