ENA’s upcoming drama “The Defects” has unveiled the first look at Dex’s character!
Based on a popular webtoon, “The Defects” is an action thriller about children who have been abandoned by their adoptive parents—and their fight for survival and revenge. The drama is directed by Oh Gi Hwan and written by Ahn So Jung.
Dex plays Jung Hyun, a human weapon raised by Kim Se Hee (Yum Jung Ah) and the de facto operator of the illegal ring. Jung Hyun is a cold, ruthless figure who carries out missions with absolute obedience to Se Hee’s orders.
In the newly released stills, Jung Hyun exudes charisma as he gazes intently at something. The way he carries out orders in the dark, without the slightest hint of hesitation, showcases the relentless determination and cold precision of a “human weapon” who thoroughly suppresses his emotions to complete his missions.
The production team commented, “Dex completely immersed himself in the role of Jung Hyun and displayed incredible focus. His strong presence will bring fresh energy and unique enjoyment to viewers, so please look forward to it.”
“The Defects” is set to premiere on July 21 at 10 p.m. KST.
