After filming a wedding scene together in a drama nearly a decade ago, Girl’s Day’s Bang Minah and On Joo Wan are tying the knot in real life!
On July 4, both stars’ agencies confirmed that Bang Minah and On Joo Wan were planning to get married in November.
On Joo Wan’s agency Haewadal Entertainment announced, “After a serious relationship, our actor On Joo Wan and actress Bang Minah have decided to spend the rest of their lives together starting this November. We ask that you give your warm blessings and support for their future as they begin the second chapter of their lives as a married couple.”
Bang Minah’s agency SM C&C similarly confirmed, “The two of them have known each other for a long time, and their relationship blossomed into love. We would be grateful if you gave the two of them your warm interest and congratulations as they prepare to begin a new chapter of their lives.”
The upcoming November wedding will be held privately, with only the couple’s family in attendance, and both stars’ agencies noted that they will remain active as actors even after getting married.
Bang Minah and On Joo Wan first met while filming the 2016 drama “Dear Fair Lady Kong Shim,” and they are said to have begun dating about four years ago, when they reunited in the musical “The Days” in 2021.
Notably, the drama “Dear Fair Lady Kong Shim” contains a scene where Bang Minah’s character imagines herself getting married to On Joo Wan’s character.
