Channel A’s “My Lovely Journey” has released new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!
Based on a bestselling novel by Maha Harada, “My Lovely Journey” tells the story of a former idol-turned-travel reporter who has never been a “center” in her life. As she takes on travel assignments on behalf of others, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, coming to understand the true meaning of success and life.

Previously, Kang Yeo Reum (Gong Seung Yeon) faced the greatest crisis in her life when the program she hosted for five years was discontinued. However, she faced a new turning point as she received a request to go on a proxy journey. Eventually, Kang Yeo Reum was asked to travel to Buyeo at the request of client Kate (Kim Hye Hwa), who lives in the States.
The newly released stills capture Kang Yeo Reum with a different expression from the excited smile she gave inside the bus to Buyeo. In one photo, Kang Yeo Reum looks shocked as she gets off the bus in the pouring rain. Having always gone traveling for filming, traveling solo feels foreign to Kang Yeo Reum, making her appear anxious and lost as she inspects her surroundings at an unfamiliar alley.
Despite the initial difficulties, the stills also depict Kang Yeo Reum’s gradual growth through her journey. Finding a restaurant by herself, she appears to be enjoying a meal alone, becoming bolder with each new step. The photo of her wearing an apron also piques intrigue for where her tip could have taken her.
The second episode will depict Yeo Reum’s beautiful journey in Buyeo. The production team shared, “As [Yeo Reum] leaves for her first solo journey in her life, she will face unexpected incidents,” raising anticipation for the next episode.
The next episode of “My Lovely Journey” will air on August 3 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
