JTBC’s upcoming drama “A Hundred Memories” has unveiled its first stills of Kim Da Mi!
“A Hundred Memories” is a nostalgic 1980s youth romance drama centered around bus conductor Go Young Rye (Kim Da Mi), her close friendship with Seo Jong Hee (Shin Ye Eun), and their shared first love Han Jae Pil (Heo Nam Jun). As the trio comes of age, the drama offers laughter, empathy, and heartfelt emotion while evoking nostalgic memories.
Kim Da Mi plays Go Young Rye, the eldest daughter who works as a bus conductor to support her family while steadily pursuing her dreams.
The newly released stills capture a day in the life of Young Rye, the conductor of Cheong Ah Transport’s Bus No. 100. Although she’s at an age where she should still be attending school, she dons a red beret and navy uniform instead of a school uniform. Her mornings begin with exercises alongside fellow conductors, followed by long hours on the road—collecting every last coin from reluctant passengers—before returning to the Cheong Ah dormitory at night to study.
Young Rye’s relentless pace comes from a dream she refuses to abandon. To ease her mother’s burden as the family’s breadwinner, she boards the first bus each morning despite suffering from chronic motion sickness. Her ultimate goal is to enter university and become a Korean language teacher, so she never lets go of her books. Her dedication extends to her work as well: upholding the company’s strict policy that “every fare must be collected,” she will chase after any passenger who tries to avoid paying—no matter how far they run.
“A Hundred Memories” is set to premiere on September 13 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
