JTBC’s upcoming drama “The Nice Guy” has unveiled a new poster featuring Lee Dong Wook!
The noir drama “The Nice Guy” will tell the story of Park Seok Chul (Lee Dong Wook), the eldest grandson of a third-generation gangster family with an unexpectedly pure heart, and his first love Kang Mi Young (Lee Sung Kyung), who dreams of becoming a singer.
The newly released poster features Park Seok Chul sitting alone in an empty subway car, his gaze filled with emptiness. The scars scattered across his face seem to tell the story of a gangster’s life marked by relentless battles.
The caption that reads, “It’s okay if my life gets a little ruined,” raises questions about what Park Seok Chul is willing to risk everything to protect and what kind of path he has walked so far.
The production team remarked, “Park Seok Chul’s journey to find new life and love, even amid the harsh trials of reality, will deliver both heartwarming laughter and deeply moving empathy. Viewers can look forward to an emotional noir drama that Lee Dong Wook will bring to life as he masterfully navigates everything from intense action to deep romance.”
“The Nice Guy” is set to premiere on July 18 at 8:50 p.m. KST. The drama will air two consecutive episodes every Friday, marking the start of JTBC’s Friday Series lineup. Stay tuned!
