SBS’s “Spring of Youth” has unveiled new stills featuring the special appearance of Rowoon!
“Spring of Youth” tells the story of Sa Gye (Ha Yoo Joon), a member of K-pop’s most famous band, who is suddenly ousted from his group. As he enrolls and adjusts to college life for the first time, he falls for Kim Bom (Park Ji Hu) and rediscovers his passion for music by joining a campus band. N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub stars as Sa Gye’s romantic rival Seo Tae Yang.

Previously, Sa Gye learned from a tip by Yoon Seung Soo (Han Jin Hee) that Seo Min Chul’s (Kim Jong Tae’s) car was the one that struck Kim Bom’s mother six years ago. But when Sa Gye confronted Seo Min Chul, who denied the accusation, Seo Tae Yang became enraged and shoved Sa Gye. The moment grew even more unsettling when Seo Min Chul told Tae Yang he had to defeat Sa Gye no matter what.
In episode 9, Rowoon—who drew attention even before the broadcast for his special appearance—plays Rowoon, the host of the music talk show “Rowoon’s Blue Day.” Dressed in a denim jacket and with neatly styled hair, he brings a warm, friendly presence as he firmly holds cue cards featuring the show’s logo and listens closely to Seo Tae Yang. But the tone shifts when Rowoon, who had been leading the conversation with a gentle smile, suddenly hardens his expression, creating a moment of tension.
Anticipation is rising as it has been revealed that members of both The Crown and TWO SAGYE will appear together on “Rowoon’s Blue Day.” Viewers are eager to see whether Rowoon will lead the showdown between the two bands—and how the groups ended up facing each other on a show hosted by him.
The production team said, “Rowoon brought a burst of energy to the set with his enthusiasm, which really lifted the staff,” and added, “His role as an energizer is a key moment in episode 9, so be sure to tune in.”
The second to final episode of “Spring of Youth” airs on June 25 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
