Seo Hyun Woo and Ok Ja Yeon may be teaming up with Lee Jun Hyuk in a new drama!
On June 16, SPOTV News reported that Seo Hyun Woo has been cast in the upcoming TVING original series “Lotto 1st Place Winner Goes to Work Too” (literal title). The following day, reports emerged that Ok Ja Yeon has also been cast in the series. In response, her agency Media Lab Siso shared, “She has received the offer and is positively reviewing it.” Seo Hyun Woo’s representatives have not yet commented on the casting news.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Lotto 1st Place Winner Goes to Work Too” tells the story of Gong Eun Tae, an ordinary sales employee who wins the lottery jackpot. Despite his newfound fortune—which he sees as the ultimate safety net for his peace of mind—he continues showing up to work, determined to face daily office life with a new mindset.
Lee Jun Hyuk is currently in talks to play Gong Eun Tae, the youngest team leader at the company. Seo Hyun Woo is reportedly set to play Assistant Manager Yang, Gong Eun Tae’s subordinate. Although he joined the company a year before Gong Eun Tae, he was passed over for promotion and now works under him—leading to resentment and jealousy. Details about Ok Ja Yeon’s potential role have yet to be revealed.
If confirmed, this will mark a reunion for Lee Jun Hyuk and Seo Hyun Woo, who previously worked together in “The Lies Within.”
