Upcoming film “No Other Choice” has unveiled new stills of Son Ye Jin in character!
“No Other Choice” tells the story of Man Soo (Lee Byung Hun), an office worker who once felt completely satisfied with life—until he’s suddenly laid off. Determined to protect his wife, two children, and the home they worked so hard to buy, he prepares for a personal battle to find a new job.
Son Ye Jin plays Mi Ri, the wife of Man Soo, who becomes stronger during times of crisis. Mi Ri comforts her husband after he loses his job, rather than criticizing him, and keeps her family together. She is a rational character who does not easily waver in any situation.
Son Ye Jin brings Mi Ri to life with delicate nuance. Despite giving up her hobbies and plunging into the battle of making a living during sudden financial hardship, she maintains a positive attitude, motivating her family members.
In this film, she works for the first time with Lee Byung Hun, delivering a realistic portrayal of married life that is expected to add depth and enjoyment to the story.
Son Ye Jin said, “Mi Ri has an optimistic personality and never loses her smile. I approached the role by thinking about how Mi Ri would handle such a situation.”
