Taecyeon and Kwon Han Sol will finally have their first encounter in KBS2’s “The First Night With the Duke”!
“The First Night with the Duke” is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transported into a minor character in a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After waking up in the world of the novel, she ends up spending the night with the obsessive male lead, Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).

Originally, Yi Beon was destined to fall in love with the novel’s true female lead Jo Eun Ae (Kwon Han Sol). However, due to Cha Sun Chaek’s unexpected arrival and the comfort she gave Yi Beon during a drunken moment, he unexpectedly spent his first night with her. Now, Yi Beon’s heart is set on Cha Sun Chaek, completely deviating from the novel’s original plot. Determined to set things right, Cha Sun Chaek is doing everything in her power to steer the story back on course.
The newly released stills capture the moment of Yi Beon and Jo Eun Ae’s first meeting. Beneath the soft glow of lanterns on a quiet night, Yi Beon’s commanding presence and Jo Eun Ae’s delicate, innocent smile create the perfect image of a main couple destined for romance.
But the atmosphere takes a dramatic turn as Yi Beon, who initially looks at Jo Eun Ae with a subtle, unreadable gaze, suddenly draws his sword on her—leaving her visibly stunned. The intense standoff raises questions: why does their fateful meeting erupt into tension and confrontation instead of a blossoming romance?
