TWS’s Youngjae will be temporarily performing seated due to a microfracture.
Earlier this week, PLEDIS Entertainment revealed that Youngjae had injured his toe and had been advised to “minimize movement for the time being.” As a result, Youngjae performed seated during the group’s appearance on the July 3 episode of NTV’s “DayDay” in Japan.
On July 5 KST, PLEDIS Entertainment followed up by announcing that Youngjae had made an additional visit to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a “microfracture at the tip of his toe.”
Because he was advised to “refrain from strenuous activities, including dancing and performing,” Youngjae will remain seated during TWS’s upcoming schedule, including the group’s performance on NTV’s “THE MUSIC DAY 2025,” without participating in their choreography.
PLEDIS Entertainment also stated that Youngjae’s participation in TWS’s upcoming “24/7:WITH:US” Japan tour will “be managed flexibly” and that he will “carry out his activities within a range that does not strain the injured area.”

Youngjae of TWS recently visited the hospital again, where he underwent additional screening and thorough examinations. The examination revealed a microfracture at the tip of his toe. He was recommended to refrain from strenuous activities, including dancing and performing until he makes a recovery.
The artist is highly determined to attend all of the group’s prearranged engagements; however, his participation for events in Japan will be adjusted depending on the circumstances, placing his recovery as the topmost priority as recommended by the medical staff.
Youngjae will participate in upcoming schedules, including the NIPPON TV ‘THE MUSIC DAY 2025’ performance on July 5th. To minimize movement, he will be seated on stage and will not take part in choreography. His participation in the “2025 TWS TOUR ‘24/7:WITH:US’ IN JAPAN” concerts will also be managed flexibly.
