Channel A’s upcoming drama “My Lovely Journey” has unveiled its second teaser video ahead of the premiere!
Based on a bestselling Japanese novel by Maha Harada, “My Lovely Journey” follows Kang Yeo Reum (Gong Seung Yeon), a former idol-turned-travel reporter who has never been the center of attention in her life. As she takes on travel assignments on behalf of others, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, coming to understand the true meaning of success and life.
The newly released video opens on a somber note as Yeo Reum sits in despair. Her poignant narration captures her struggle: “Everyone says I’ve fallen. A failed idol, fallen into the life of a survival-mode reporter. I have nowhere to go.”
However, the tone quickly shifts when Lee Yeon Seok (Kim Jae Young) sits beside her on the beach as she stares out at the horizon. Yeon Seok suggests she start a new type of travel agency, sparking a new energy in Yeo Reum and igniting a fresh sense of purpose.
Just as a heart-fluttering romance seems to blossom between the two, Cha Si Wan (Baekho)—another former idol who has since become a successful actor—appears and confesses his intention to come back to her.
With its twist-filled romantic storyline and heartfelt growth journey, the drama promises to deliver a refreshing and emotional experience for viewers this summer.
