Netflix’s upcoming series “Genie, Make A Wish” has unveiled its date announcement poster and teaser!
“Genie, Make A Wish” follows the mysterious spirit Genie (Kim Woo Bin), who awakens from a thousand-year slumber to grant three life-changing wishes to Ka Young (Suzy), an emotionless young woman who suddenly finds herself the new owner of a magical lamp. As Genie tries to adjust to the modern world with his devilish ways, he and the emotionally guarded Ka Young find themselves drawn into an unexpected and electrifying romance.
The newly released poster and teaser draw attention with their radiant chemistry. In the middle of a sunlit desert, Ka Young stands holding a lamp. When the lamp begins to glow, a golden sandstorm swirls, and the mysterious figure of Genie emerges.
He appears suddenly at a near, breathless distance, heightening the tension with a chilling prophecy: “I will scour the world and find you again. Remember this. I will seek you out, and my name is Iblis.” Curiosity deepens with the revelation that Genie, the spirit of the wish-granting lamp, is Iblis—another name for Satan. Yet even with Genie’s arrival, Ka Young stands out for her steady composure, as if her emotions remain sealed. Adding to the intrigue, the phrase, “Come now, to corruption!” cast beside the two figures in the poster hints at an extraordinary connection between them.
